Literacy Activities

World Book Day 2020 was held on March 4th. Each child received a €1.50 book token to spend in the book catalogue or local book shop. Ms Lynch organised a wide variety of activties such as quizzes and games/reading for parents that week. She also organised a poetry competition and look at the lovely poetry garden she and Iris created in the library! The children also were invited to dress up as their favourite book charachter and look at the fantastic winners! All costumes were home-made!
